A very old work....this is one of my initial works. Seems the journey has gone through a lot of experimentations and explorations!

Counting The Bears

In the noons of scorching heat filled summers of Delhi, just when it gets too much and you start thinking- may be it would never rain....is when it(the rain) surprises you and you feel like a child again.
but it has to be the first rain to feel like this

Being an absentee

Last few years have left me overwhelmed for all the surprises and situations and experiences that life has to offer...all in such a short span of a few years, that posting my new works was last on my priority list. However back in action finally on the blog, I somehow feel my catalogue should be complete and should include most of my works. I apologise for not uploading my works that I did in last few years and about all the action that has taken place.

"Being an artist is not just about what happens when you are in the studio. The way you live, the people you choose to love and the way you love them, the way you vote, the words that come out of your mouth, the size of the world you make for yourselves, your ability to influence the things you believe in, your obsessions, your failures — all of these components will also become the raw material for the art you make."

The Sleepwalker ll

Even a sarcastic comment can inspire an artwork!
This is one of the works that I started immediately after my first project.
During a visit to an ongoing show those days I told a fellow artist that now days cobwebs and their texture inspire me a lot, this was followed by a comment from her that I need to get rid of the same from my mind 😊.
I decided to follow the valuable advice of a friend in this way....
